Staff News

We would like to welcome Alice to our team in Big Bears. Alice is trained to Level 3 and will soon be undertaking degree studies. She will be taking on the role of key worker to a small group of children whilst she settles in, all parents will be informed of any key worker changes.

Bear Cubs January Sensory Challenge

The baby room are taking part in a ’31 day sensory challenge’ (weekdays only!!). This consists of a different sensory activity everyday – this could be anything from stickers, bubbles, dough, ice and much more! If you would like a copy of the daily challenges please ask a member of staff how you can get involved J

Bear Cubs Bags

We have a new system in our Bear Cubs room for our bags! Please could you provide a small back pack or drawstring bag containing the following:

  • Book
  • 2 x full changes of clothes
  • Comforter (if needed)

  • Dummy (if needed)

Any additional items such as wellies or wetsuits can be stored separately away from our pegs to reduce clutter just ask a member of staff J

Bear Hunt
A massive thank you to all who took part in our Bear Hunt, the children absolutely adored hunting Tattenhall for all the different bears and we raised so much money for our outdoor area! We still have some final donations to collect so will announce the ‘grand’ total and the winners of the prizes on next months newsletter!
If you would like to change or add hours or sessions for your child then please let us know as soon as possible as we have limited availability.
Lost Property
As our lost property box is always full we will now be emptying this fortnightly and putting anything left over into our charity recycling bags. Please ensure you are checking this regularly to make sure you do not lose any of your belongings. Please also make sure you label ALL personal belongings. We have 77 children attend on different days throughout the week so it is very difficult for us to know what belongs to which child so your help would be really appreciated!
