Sarah Lees - Nursery Nurse

Sarah Lees - Nursery Nurse

Sarah joined our team the beginning of January 2015 after enquiring about childcare for her daughter. Sarah and her daughter have both settled in to our Sandy Bears family! Sarah has completed her level 3 in childcare and previously worked in another nursery, working with children from babies to Pre schoolers. Sarah is key worker and works in our big bears room.

Keyworker Letter

Hi my name is Sarah Lees, I am a 32 year old mum to a five year old little girl who is my world and I have a very close loving family.

I am a level 3 Early Years Practitioner at Sandy Bears in Big Bears room, I am currently key worker to a number of children ranging from the ages of 18 months/2-4. I love working for Laura Y and Astone and alongside all the girls as we have one thing in common and that is we love the job we do which is doing the best for your child/ren.

I enjoy the age range I work with because I see them develop over time from the day they walk through the front door or when they have a taster in Baby Bears to when they go on to school. It is so lovely to see the children thrive in their development and ready for their next venture and journey! (I will be crying)
As a Keyworker I want the best for each of my children and I make sure each of their individual needs are met by having good relationships with parents/carers and I can support both child and parent the best I possibly can. I observe the children and plan activities to meet their needs and abilities which I track and link to eyfs and most importantly I'm their shoulder to support them, guide and care for their individual needs.

Here’s a little about me and my back ground.
My favourite-
Colour- (all shades) Blue
Animal- Horse
Film- My left foot
Tv- Emerdale
Book- I love reading Cathy glass books ( she's a foster carer)

Our pets are two ponies Gucci and Beauty, Dylan the rabbit and Betty and jasmine the Guinea pigs. My hobbies have been taken up with being a single parent but I have fab times at the park, picnics, beach, holidays camping making memories! I have had a difficult time this year as my niece was diagnosed with leukaemia so I am fundraising by jumping out of a plane to raise money for a charity the Joshua tree who help the families and the children who have cancer.

I’m looking forward to begin your childs journey in Big bears and being your childs keyworker.
Sarah x
