Laura has worked in Childcare for 15 years through pre-schools, nurseries, schools and Children Centres. She has a wealth of experience working with other professionals including health visitors, speech and language therapists and education specialists.

In 2011 Laura took over Sandy Bears Tattenhall as Owner and since then has worked tirelessly to create an Outstanding Childcare setting (alongside having 2 children of her own!)
Laura is thrilled to have expanded Sandy Bears to Cholmondeley where she can support a whole other network of families by creating another amazing provision.
Laura works in the office focussing on all paperwork, parents queries and requests and staff’s continuing professional development.
Laura is passionate about the settings ethos and is always available for parents and families.

Astone has worked in Early Years for 9 years and is committed to being at the forefront of research and development in this area.
Astone began working at Sandy Bears in 2011 after completing her English Degree and subsequently trained for her Early Years Teacher Status.
Astone has worked closely with Laura to gain their Outstanding Ofsted

Astone began working at Sandy Bears in 2011 after completing her English Degree and subsequently trained for her Early Years Teacher Status.
Astone has worked closely with Laura to gain their Outstanding Ofsted report in Tattenhall in 2016 and in 2018 Astone opened Cholmondeley with Laura and is now based between both Tattenhall and Cholmondeley settings.
Astone works in the rooms and the office, supporting families and developing staff practice and running training sessions.
Astone is our Forest School Teacher and provides children with these weekly sessions and implements the ethos to all practitioners for their day to day activities.

Harriet worked in children's entertainment before moving to Early Years 4 years ago.
Harriet is a passionate practitioner who has recently completed her Level 4 in Leadership and Management.
Harriet runs the setting on a day to day basis and also works as a Key Worker and Leader in the Panda Bears Room.

Lucy has a wealth of experience from previous nursery and pre-school settings. Lucy is now our Panda Bear room leader and also works as our SENDCo ensuring all children have the correct provisions and driving change within our setting.

Rachael is a mum of 3 who, after spending years in a local school as a Teaching Assistant, made the leap to Early Years in June 2019.
She works in our Polar Bears room supporting a child as an intervention worker, working closely with the other children and staff in the room.

Laura is one of our Koala Bears practitioners and holds a Level 3 in childcare. She has 6 years experience working within baby rooms and with her own little boy too.
Laura works for 30 hours a week as a Key Worker and works closely with the leader to create the perfect environment for our babies.

Fern Joined us in 2022 from another local setting and is trained as an Early Years Educator Level 2. She is completing her Level 3 whilst working as a Key Person in our Polar Bear room.

Charlotte joined us at the beginning of 2021 to undertake her Level 3 Early Years Educator training. Charlotte mainly works in our Panda Bear room and has a group of Key Children.

Isobel completed a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies in 2021 and then began working in our Polar Bears room as a Key Person, supporting the pre-school children and rising 3s.

Imogen joined us at the beginning of 2021 following experience gained in local pre-schools and on a Level 2 course.
Imogen is now studying a Level 3 Early Years Educator course whilst working in our Koala Bears room as a Key Person.
